Product Introduction:
The double eccentric flange butterfly valve adopts a double eccentric sealing structure, relying on a worm gear drive to achieve 90° rotation of the butterfly plate for opening and closing.
The valve body has a flange connection and is widely used in pipelines for water supply and drainage, municipal engineering, HVAC, sewage treatment, and power plant circulating water, for cutting off or regulating media flow.
Unlike center-line butterfly valves, the double eccentric structure allows the butterfly plate to disengage from the sealing seat instantly upon opening, significantly reducing wear on the sealing surface, resulting in reliable sealing and a longer service life.
Structural Features:
1. Double Eccentric Sealing Structure:
The valve shaft centerline is double-eccentric relative to the butterfly plate sealing surface.
When the valve opens, the butterfly plate quickly disengages from the valve seat, avoiding continuous friction on the sealing ring during the opening and closing process;
when closed, the butterfly plate gradually presses against the valve seat, achieving a tight two-way seal.
2. Flange Connection:
Standard flanges at both ends of the valve body ensure stable installation and strong pressure resistance,
suitable for medium and large diameter pipelines (DN200～DN2000). The valve body has a built-in support structure, providing more stable support for large-diameter valves.
3. Worm Gear Drive:
Standard configuration includes a worm gear reducer and handwheel for effortless operation; a built-in opening indicator allows for direct viewing of the valve's opening and closing status.
A pre-installed connection interface on the worm gear head allows for the later installation of an electric actuator, upgrading to an electric butterfly valve.
